The list is now and running:

Feel free to send in lots of patches! The limit is 1 MB per email :-)

I have also created a viff-commits list which carries the commit mails
which were previously sent directly to Mikkel, Thomas, Tomas, and me.
So now everybody can subscribe without having to go through me.
