I've put some changes to it here -- it's only style changes in order to
make it more "pythonic" :-) Please pull from this repository:

I have not really tested the changes, expect by running pyflakes on the
source. By the way, pyflakes informs me that:

  viffbench/examples/ComparisonToft05.py:68: undefined name 'start_time'
  viffbench/lib/enum.py:193: undefined name 'EnumValueCompareError'
  viffbench/test/test.py:52: undefined name 'Suite'

in addition to some warnings.

I hope you like the changes, and that they mostly work! :-)
