There's a lot of interesting insecure multiparty computation going on.
What I mean is that there is a whole research field concerned with
distributed computing.

I guess it's only the crypto-community guys who are trying to do it securely.

So the 'S' might prevent confusion with something else out there in
the non-crypto world. But I havn't heard of anyone else using the term
MPC ... so maybe we should just stick to 'MPC' and let people from
other research fields invent other names for their stuff.
