Hi guys,
Just a quick note to let you know that the webserver running viff.dk and
hg.viff.dk has been upgraded. The new server is a quad-code Intel Xeon
64-bit machine with 16 GiB RAM running Debian etch (oldstable).
I recompiled Mercurial yesterday evening to fix the repository browser
at hg.viff.dk. I think that is the only thing broken on the server.
The SSH host key was also changed in the upgrade, so you'll see a
warning like this when you connect with SSH:
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
@ WARNING: REMOTE HOST IDENTIFICATION HAS CHANGED! @
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SOMEONE IS DOING SOMETHING NASTY!
Someone could be eavesdropping on you right now (man-in-the-middle attack)!
It is also possible that the RSA host key has just been changed.
The fingerprint for the RSA key sent by the remote host is
0e:c2:f6:f4:d9:86:9d:4b:c4:3d:77:e7:a4:bb:59:14.
Please contact your system administrator.
Add correct host key in /users/mgeisler/.ssh/known_hosts to get rid of this message.
Offending key in /users/mgeisler/.ssh/known_hosts:20
RSA host key for viff.dk has changed and you have requested strict checking.
Host key verification failed.
It would be fun if Dreamhost kept an online list of legitimate keys, but
I haven't been able to find one... so proceed at your own risk :-)
